Workshops for everyone!
Thank you to everyone who booked into one of our open ages workshops, painting with their child, clay making and master boffer fighting! We'll be running another series of Creative Catalyst Art & Vala workshops for mixed ages on the 19th August so please share our newsletter with anyone you think would be interested. Vala Advanced Boffer (Defender) 10 years +
Come along to our Winter Open Day on Saturday 3rd June. Vala will be running an exciting active Boffer Defender session at 10:30am to 12:30pm. This event is for ages 10+ and uses high quality boffers and equipment to engage your imagination and body. Engage in ninja, samurai, knight, and other ancient warrior-inspired games and training. Paint & Kid! Painting Workshop at our Winter Open Day
Come along to our Winter Open Day on Saturday 3rd June. Creative Catalyst is running a painting workshop in the morning (10am - 12pm) A variation of the popular paint & sip, spend some quality time with a young person in your life. Clay Shrines Workshop at our Winter Open Day
Come along to our Winter Open Day on Saturday 3rd June. Creative Catalyst is running a clay workshop in the afternoon (1pm - 3pm) This is a casual and relaxed clay workshop designed to nurture and encourage your creativity and imagination. Learn hand building techniques such as slab and coil construction to create a small & precious shrine to house your special small items. Who we are.
Aeon Academy is run by the not-for-profit, cultural organisation Aeon Arts Ltd and works for the wellbeing of the community. Its aim is to deliver an Outside School Hours Education and Care service of the highest quality, and has been doing so for over 20 years.
The Aeon Academy team believes all children are innately gifted and talented and that education is a natural outcome of creativity. Everything we do is about nurturing their creative spark and inspiring them to learn through creativity and play. We strive to support families and recognise that our dedicated and experienced Educators are privileged to be a positive and formative part of your child’s life.
At Aeon Academy your child’s safety and wellbeing come first. Outside school hours education and care is our specialisation and our sole focus. Our engaged and caring leadership team works on site with their fingers on the pulse every day ensuring your child will experience a safe learning environment. Our Educators are supported to have the quality time needed to meaningfully engage with your child.
Choose from a suite of programs to suit your child. Our strong reputation for exceptional programming delivers programs that children love. Our team of highly qualified Educational Leaders and Programming Directors meaningfully tailor programs to meet differing individual and community needs and interests, maximising your child’s engagement and learning. All of our unique Foundation and Specialised Programs promote creative thinking, encourage adaptable approaches to problem solving and open up endless possibilities for your child.
Environmental sustainability is an essential part of our philosophy. We embed sustainability in the day-to-day activities and programming of our Service. We believe in empowering children as active global citizens.
The Aeon Academy experience is akin to being among a caring family. We understand that learning is a lifelong journey and we strive to be an organisation that nurtures that journey; from very young children, to primary students, to teenagers and young people. We are an inclusive organisation that genuinely engages with our community. Our legendary Open Days are fun and free community events, bringing families and children together to enjoy meaningful and memorable experiences.
