We have just finalised our Spring Vacation program. There is something for everybody, with our amazing Creative Catalyst Visual Art and Vala Adventures programs.

Vala Adventures Program

We’re running a unique adventure on each day of the holiday. Choose and participate in a one of a kind adventure of storytelling, live action role playing, exciting physical games and diceplay.

From the World of Oliver Twist, to the Aztec empire, Vala truly has something for all passions and people.

A little teaser from Fall of the Aztecs…

Disaster abounds in the capital of the Aztec Empire as terrible omens warn that the end of their dominion may have come. The Emperor and the citizens fall sick with a foreign disease, food and even water cease to arrive in the city, the pale-skinned Conquistadors plot with the Tlaxacans, and even their faithful ally Texcoco betrays the Triple-Alliance. As the Conquistador armies march on the Aztec capital, swollen by their traitorous former subjects, all that is left for our group is to decide how they will spend their lives to stop The Fall of Tenochtitlan.

Each day is a new adventure at Vala, see our full Spring Vacation Program for further details.

Creative Catalyst Visual Arts

Over in the Art room we have everything from clay, to painting to mixed media.

We also have the exciting return of Ochre, who is coming up from Tasmania to teach 3 clay workshops in the first week! Bethany will be taking our Thursday classes and Lauren will be leading the painting workshops. We are also lucky enough to have Teffany taking a class in both the first and second week.

All our art Educators are practising artists and graduates of the ANU School of Art & Design
