Do you have a child beginning kindergarten next year? The first year of ‘big school’ can be at times both exciting and daunting for kids and families alike.
Here at Aeon, we recognize that not all kids feel ready for a big transition at the same time. That’s why our kindergarten students have two excellent programs to choose from!

The Sparks Early Years program is specifically tailored for 3-6 year olds and enjoys a higher Educator-to-child ratio than our other programs, providing a greater level of support for your child.
It is delivered by highly trained, dedicated, and caring Educators who create a safe and playful environment designed to inspire your child’s imagination and compassion.
As with our Pre-school and Montessori students, and in consultation with families, we provide a supervised transition for kindies to Aeon in the afternoon.
We seek to nurture the creative spark in all children, motivating them to learn through a range of developmentally appropriate activities including:
- Arts & crafts
- Dramatic make-believe
- Nature play and gardening activities
- Storytelling
- Dance
- and more…
On the other hand, if your kindergarten child is confident or has older siblings at Aeon, Creative Play might be the right choice.
Creative Play is our foundation program for children 5+ years, and involves a mix of active play, arts & crafts, loose parts construction, and imaginative play.
If your child chooses to join Creative Play, we are still happy to provide a supervised transition from school to Aeon in the afternoons.
