Aeon Teenage Art Club
Aeon Academy celebrates creative youth & supports ongoing affordable access to creative programs. At Aeon, teens who love their art will love our art workshops, finding them fun, relaxing and creative, with no pressure or strings attached. Many want to return time-and-time again and so Aeon Academy offers the Aeon Teenage Art Club.
Co-founder of Aeon Academy, Creative Catalyst program Director and practising artist Teffany Thiedeman leads the Teenage Art Club, fostering creative skills, while inspiring independence and self-esteem.
Teens can learn to use tools, materials and techniques across a range of interesting mediums; empowering them to work on their own self-directed art creations. Teffany supports them to choose their own projects; from henna tattoos, to stencil design for t-shirts/street art, to sculpting, oil painting and spray painting. These workshops are time for experimentation and skill development and are not hung up on set outcomes. Teens interested in working towards an art portfolio are able to use the space, materials and Teff’s mentorship as they build a body of work.
